AI Governance

How AI assistance supports communications and website operations, with anonymised data and human review.

On this page

AI tools assist with preparation and technical work. People remain responsible for checking the result and approving material before publication.

  • Assistance with email and newsletter templates.
  • Support for website design and technical troubleshooting.
  • Analysis using anonymised analytics data.
  • Human review and approval before publication.

ABC Vascular and its technical support team use AI-assisted tools to help prepare email and newsletter templates, explore website design and resolve technical problems. Analytics used for this assistance are anonymised before they are shared with an AI tool.

These uses support communications and website operations. They do not describe an AI clinical service or an autonomous decision-maker for learners.

In the uses described here, names, surnames and email addresses are not provided to AI tools. Analytics data are anonymised before use. Removing direct identifiers is part of the preparation; contextual information must also be checked to avoid revealing an individual's identity.

The guardrail is to work with anonymous examples and the information necessary for the task. Identifiable learner records, patient information, credentials and private account data should not be included in prompts, screenshots or troubleshooting examples.

AI output is a draft or a technical suggestion. A person reviews and approves material before publication. Review should cover accuracy, misleading claims, suitability for the audience, privacy and technical changes that could affect the website.

AI suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. They are not accepted merely because a tool produced them. Correction or rejection is part of the review process.

The declared AI uses concern communications, website design, troubleshooting and anonymised analytics. This notice does not establish an AI-based educational assessment or a clinical decision-making service. Educational information remains subject to professional judgement and the educational disclaimer.

Account administration, access periods, course progress and certificate availability also use ordinary system rules. For accredited CME training, certificate availability depends on the required assessment and feedback-form completion. These checks are separate from the AI assistance described here.

If a completion record or certificate decision appears incorrect, contact info@abcvascular.com for human review. Further information is provided in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these uses require review of the relevant data, safeguards and human oversight before implementation. This notice should be updated when the declared practices change.

For questions, concerns or correction of published material, contact info@abcvascular.com. This notice describes stated practices and safeguards; it is not a certification of compliance or a promise that AI output will be error-free.
