1. Purpose & Scope

This policy governs refunds and cancellations for all accredited online vascular ultrasound courses offered via www.abcvascular.com (the “Courses”). It applies to individual buyers, institutional buyers (e.g. societies), and bundle purchasers. By enrolling in a Course or bundle, you agree to this policy.

2. Consumer cancellation rights

Where you buy as a consumer and UK distance-selling rules apply, you generally have 14 calendar days from conclusion of the contract to cancel without giving a reason. Mandatory rights under other applicable consumer laws remain unaffected.

For digital content supplied immediately, this cancellation right is lost only where the legal requirements are met, including your express prior consent to immediate supply, acknowledgement that you will lose that right, and the required contract confirmation. Logging in or viewing content alone does not establish a valid waiver.

For services started during the cancellation period at your express request, any charge for work already supplied must comply with applicable law. The rules for fully performed services differ from those for digital content.

3. Refund eligibility and product problems

Statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed digital content, services not supplied with reasonable care and skill, or failure to provide the agreed service are preserved. Remedies may include repair, replacement, repeat performance, a price reduction or refund where the law requires them.

Duplicate purchases, unresolved technical failures and loss of advertised accreditation can be referred to support for investigation and the appropriate remedy. Personal schedule changes or dissatisfaction do not remove cancellation rights that still apply; outside those rights and the commercial policy below, discretionary requests are assessed individually.

If access fails, the course supplied differs from the order, or content is materially defective or misdescribed, contact support with the order number and a description. Screenshots or error messages are helpful where available. We will investigate the report and relevant system or access records, and arrange the remedy required by law or agreed under this policy. Starting or completing the course does not itself create a right to a discretionary refund, but does not remove mandatory remedies. A mistaken selection by the buyer is assessed under the applicable cancellation rights and commercial policy; it is distinct from supplying the wrong course.

48-hour satisfaction guarantee

If you are dissatisfied with an individually purchased online course, we will refund the full price paid for that course when all of the following conditions are met:

• Your refund request reaches info@abcvascular.com less than 48 hours after purchase.
• Your recorded course completion progress is strictly below 10% when the request is received.
• No certificate has been issued for that course.

Include your name, order number and course title. We will check the purchase timestamp, the platform progress records and certificate status. Once refunded, access to the refunded course will be withdrawn. This is an additional commercial guarantee, including where a valid digital-content cancellation waiver applies; it does not limit any statutory cancellation or defective-content rights. At 10% progress or 48 hours after purchase, this guarantee no longer applies. Institutional or multi-seat purchases remain subject to their agreed terms.

4. Business, bundle and institutional purchases

For business purchases, our commercial policy allows a refund request within 7 calendar days of purchase if no course content has been accessed and no access codes, learner slots or accounts have been provisioned. Once access is provisioned or content is used, a commercial refund is normally unavailable unless separately agreed or required by law.

Institutional and bundle purchases are subject to their agreed terms. A consumer purchase does not lose mandatory cancellation rights merely because an account or code was issued or another learner logged in.

5. Cancellation before activation

Consumers may cancel within the applicable statutory period unless a legally valid exception applies. Business buyers with unused, unprovisioned access may request cancellation within the 7-day commercial period.

6. How to request cancellation or a refund

Email info@abcvascular.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel or request a refund. Include your name, order number, purchase date and course or bundle name so we can locate the order. A reason is not required to exercise a statutory cancellation right. For a product or technical problem, describe the issue so support can investigate.

Statutory cancellation refunds will be made within the applicable legal deadline, normally within 14 calendar days of being informed of cancellation, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed and without a refund fee. We aim to review discretionary commercial requests within 10 business days and process approved refunds within 14 calendar days of approval. These administrative targets do not extend statutory deadlines.

7. Refusals and review

If a request is refused, we will explain the applicable policy or legal basis. You may ask management to review the decision by replying to the same contact address. Your statutory remedies remain available.

8. Policy updates and exceptional situations

Updates apply prospectively. The terms agreed at purchase and mandatory legal rights govern existing contracts. System outages, exceptional circumstances and accessibility barriers will be considered individually without restricting statutory rights.
